Helix Urgent Care - Deerfield Beach East Boca Raton North Pompano Beach

Visited just recently and my experience was overwhelmingly easy. Had to fill out simple paperwork and present insurance, ID, and a credit or debit card - pretty standard. Was told I wouldnt be charged until it ran through my insurance. Then I saw the nurse, who took vitals, and then waited for maybe another 10 mins to see Virginia the PA that day (who was great). All in all my whole visit was less than 45 minutes...but an important note that I got there 4 minutes after they opened. Its a big building and it looks to be setup for a lot of patients, so I can imagine it gets backed up. I feel like the facility was clean and everyone took the time when interacting with me.

I truly am grateful to the Helix Urgent Care staff. Service was helpful, quick and affordable. I came in for a prescription refill for asthma medication. It was simple scheduling my appointment online. From start to finish my service took less than an hour. For someone with a chronic condition and no insurance, I couldnt be happier with the treatment I received at Helix. Thank you so much to Dr. DeLeo and staff!

Don’t go here if you have somewhere to go, the wait is minimum 2 hours to be seen , they have you fill out the paperwork and then wait . And they clean /dirty cup for the pens bring your own , I saw the lady at the front switch them from the dirty side to the clean without so much as a disinfectant wipe to sanitize them .

This is not Urgent care , the front desk woman is a horrible and rude . This place does not care about your well being or taking care of any urgent needs . This company is only worried about producing more money and money only. They will spend an hour and 30 minutes of filing paperwork before they see you even if you are bleeding and showing signs of urgent pain

Helix provides kind, compassionate, and competent medical care in a modern and clean environment.The staff is kind and considerate and Dr. Deleo is just a great doctor. He has treated members of my family a few times now and each time we’ve left feeling not only better, but heard and valued. While he is definitely a busy guy, and gets straight to the point, he addresses his patients by name, makes eye contact and listens. If you’ve ever been treated by a clinician who never looks up from their iPad- you know how valuable these simple considerations are to your health and well being. And, he knows his stuff, as evidenced by the fact that I am already feeling well enough to compose this review!The Helix staff, and Dr. Deleo in particular, have earned my highest recommendation.

Lydia was wonderful she is a nurse, rad tech phlebotomist gaveme an ekg. Took care of me excellent at her job the staff was very nice from beginning to the end.

Amazing visit this my second time seeing Dr Christopher DeLeo and his staff members. Always greeted with a smile and always leave with the best results. I highly recommend this urgent care location for any and every problem you run into, there’s not a problem Dr. DeLeo can’t solve he’s very informative.

I really enjoyed going to Helix urgent Care because they help me get better with my flu and bronchitis and feeling a lot better the staff was very nice

Horrible customer service . I went for a simple sports physical for my two brothers and the women at the front desk gave me such a hard time. Unfortunately, I had to go to a different urgent care, and MdNOW Urgent care took Greaaattt care of us !

I am writing this review to inform everyone of the awful experience that I had at this particular urgent care. I had an ekg which was read by a physician who misdiagnosed me. Dr. Deleo claimed the results were abnormal and that I had an issue going on with my heart. He stated that I “need to go immediately to the hospital and have a work up for my condition.” A condition I never had. Additionally, he kept pushing a $200 Covid test that was not approved by my insurance. He claimed its the best one out there and it covers 4 influenzas at once. I almost went for it because I trusted his opinion.This dr repeatedly mentioned it as if it was supposedly the greatest thing out there. I took his advice and went straight to the nearest hospital and waited for hours to be seen. I had a repeat ekg which was negative for any heart issue.The hospital assured me and reassured me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my heart. I was told my heart is following a normal pattern of beats and that whoever read my ekg did not know how to accurately interpret one. Thank goodness, what a relief but how scary is that to know the doctor interpreting your ekg does not know how to properly interpret one.Therefore, I am alerting everyone to be very careful going there. I had blood work done too and everything was fine with no abnormalities. All I had was gerd! I told the urgent care dr I had spicy food the night before and went to sleep shortly after. That dr emphatically stated there is something wrong with my heart. I truly have to question his expertise in reading ekgs and wonder if he has any financial interest in this $200 test. I certainly hope not. This place has given me a serious wake up call to really research and to read the reviews before i go to a place especially when it comes to healthcare. You are putting your trust and life in someones hands to diagnose you properly. Furthermore, I took a covid test at the hospital which was covered by insurance and checks for all influenzas and it was negative. My symptoms did not mimic any sign of Covid but I chose to get one for reassurance . Make sure you see a physician that can accurately read reports. Also, because of his misdiagnosis I have now incurred all of these unnecessary hospital bills.

I have incredibly good healthcare insurance. I looked at my bill from my insurance company, which is covered but they charged $500 for a 10 minute visit and added on the bill that it was a long visit. I’ve already reported this as fraud. Watch your bills

A Plus in South Florida , The staff was very nice. The Doctor was knowledgeable and listened to all my concerns when i was diagnosed with Covid he put me on the right track for me to tackle the Virus . I did a walk in with wait time under a hour

Experience from 01/05/2022. The staff here is very helpful, from the front desk/checkout (did not get her name) to Dr. K., our daughter needed Xrays and they were great. Took the Xrays and they were read right away. The technician Rosemary was great and Dr K. who was supposed to be off at 5, stayed late to make sure we were taken care of.

This office is very clean and the staff is very respectable and friendly. Even though we had an appointment, she let us know right away that there would be a wait, but it was ok because of the manner that she told us. Being a nurse for many years it’s nice to see there are still friendly ppl working in the field. A plus.

I see them more than my normal doctor. The staff are all really great. Dr Deleo is really amazing as well. If you need to see the doctor I would suggest coming here.

The minute I stepped into the office the staff and the doctor were wonderful. I would definitely go back again and refer anybody I know to go there also.

Most of the staff especially Dr Daleo was excellent. The wait in the clinic sometimes is a little bit too much. I was there three times and had to wait maybe 3 hours and 2 hours the first 2 times being that theres only one doctor in the clinic. The third visit they let me come back with an appointment and I only had to wake maybe 30 to 40 minutes. Everyone that I came in contact with caring and took time and I did not feel rushed and I appreciate that as a patient.. I would certainly highly recommend Helixurgent Care..

This urgent care is a complete waste of time and experience. Youre better off going to the ER. Dr. Deleo and his staff dont care about your urgent care or well-being. Dont waste your time.

This was a great office. They were very polite and efficient. The dr was knowledgeable and very courteous. He was trying to get me in and out as soon as possible even though he was the only dr there. I will definitely use them again

Virginia (the nurse practitioner) was outstanding. I was injured in an accident and she took her time with me, explained everything very clearly and was extremely thorough. This was the first time Ive ever been to an urgent care office but if I ever need such services again I would go back. I recommend this office to anyone in need of urgent care.

Absolutely the worse experience Ive ever had with office staff. They insisted my medical card was not correct.When I offered to have them speak with my insurance company they refused. They would only accept a fax from my insurance. I called my insurance company to give them there fax number. Somehow they magically found the error in the system to accept my card.The Physician I saw was excellent and gave me excellent care.If you use this facility be prepared to deal with a very belligerent office staff who would rather you take your business elsewhere.

Its a beautiful place, very kind, helpfull. Sometimes the wait is long, mostly short. Drs r fantastic. Has exrays machines. Id give it a A+. Definitely tell my friends.

I was looking for an urgent care to get my daughter a sports physical and found Helix. What a great experience compared to other ones we’ve been to. The staff were so nice and sweet. The wait was short in the waiting room and when we went to the back. We also loved the doctor working that shift. We would definitely go there again!

Appt was 8:30. Was seen by 9:00. Staff was professional, courteous and friendly. Definitely would recommend. The PA was informative and provided helpful advice.

Was able to see the Physicians Assistant within an hour (which in my experience with walk-in clinics was good). She was very good but the office dropped the ball by not calling in 1 of 3 prescriptions. I didn’t find this out until I was at the pharmacy and had to go back the next day.

I went to Helix for an ear infection. The place is very clean, I was greeted right away and everyone acted professionally. I had to wait but not terribly long but that is what happens when your going for urgent care. I have waited longer at my PCP with a scheduled appointment. The attended Doctor was thorough and even called me later that evening to let me know she found an ear medication I wasnt allergic to: I was impressed and grateful. A great healthcare experience

Best urgent care I’ve been to. Dr. Deleo was very well versed and helped me with several issues that I didn’t make an appointment for and referred me to two docs to see outside of his clinic. Only gripe was that a women who came in after me was attended to before me but she may have had an appointment. Definitely recommend Helix over MD now, minute clinic or any other urgent care facilities in the area!

I ended up having to go to urgent care as my primary had no appointments available. I am giving this place a 1 star for the people at the check-in and checkout. The doctor was great but the front desk people horrible.First, I had given my insurance when I arrived and when they asked me to ensure all was correct I had asked a question as I saw it reflected a different state, she then became condescending and started to over pronounce her words to me as if I didn’t understand? I was just trying to ensure the bill would go to the correct place heading off any issues that may arise. Again, when you request to ensure all is correct don’t become ugly when the patient asks a question.Then when checking out I needed to check to ensure they were sending the prescription to the correct pharmacy. The girl said it was some other address and I stated please send to the one I provided. Her overall demeanor what extremely combative and rude. As I was leaving the goodbye was abrupt and not genuine from her.First if you’re going to an urgent care it’s sure the patients aren’t feeling well so perhaps a little compassion would be nice. I will not return to this place again.

Worst urgent care place ever. They demand that you put a credit card or debit card on file even when your insurance card CLEARLY shows what the charge is for urgent care. Then that hit your credit or debit card 1-2 months later with a charge and no prewarning that they are charging your card. On top of that I took my 87 year old mother that is currently in from VA today to get checked out. She had no credit card or debit card with her and they demanded either she put one on file OR give them a deposit if $145.00 to be seen. I work in the medical field and know with the insurance she has the visit would be covered in full. The front desk person today should be working at McDonalds bc she had NO business working in a medical facility for urgent care. We left went down the road to MD Now much better staff. Much better “”policies””” they did not demand a credit or debit card. They did not demand a 145.00 “deposit” and we were in and out quicker than any visit I’ve ever had at Helix. TERRIBLE urgent care facility

Worst experience today.4pm- called and got appointment for 6:10pmGave scheduler all of our info and insurance stuff.4:30ish- received a txt to register so I did and made a portal account.Waited the rest of afternoon. Altered my vacation plans……5:10pm- received a txt saying appointment was canceled from lack of registration info.Called for 20 minutes, nobody can help you, got passed around 8 times.Finally got “help” and got a reschedule.Waited in 2 different portals cause they sent me two different links. Received a txt 5 mins after appointment was supposed to start saying Dr. Alexandra Craft wouldn’t be able to see me because cause she had another appointment run over.I got canceled on twice today with nofollow-up help.My kid is so sick and miserable and I’m so hacked I spent my entire afternoon thinking this business would help us.Don’t go here.

I had a wonderful and professional experience getting my blood drawn by nurse Samuel. I hate getting my blood drawn but I seriously did not feel the needle. This man is a king with a steady hand and deserves to be promoted immediately!!!

I love Helix Urgent Care. You walk in and they immediately take care of you. Dr was very attentive to my concerns. Listened to all I had to say. Asked pertinent questions, did a good exam. Did not rush! Treatment ordered was successful and my condition was resolved in a few days. Very pleased!

I had a serious back strain. I was seen by a doctor in about 15 minutes. He examined my back, prescribed medicine, and after taking the medication my pain is almost all gone. I appreciate the high quality, professional service provided by my doctor and his staff. I also appreciate how quickly I was examined and treated.

Quick, upfront with self-pay price and prices for additional tests before administering them. The doctor, nurse, and front desk staff were all very professional and extremely nice. He acknowledged every single issue I was there for.

I woke up with a severe toothache. I found helix on Google. I was very easily able to make an appointment online to use the virtual service and within a couple of hours. I had a treatment plan and prescription waiting for me at my local pharmacy. Thank you so much. I will definitely use the service again and recommend HelixVM to others.

I’m a frequent visitor to the Helix UC and what a wonderful experience everytime. The staff is super professional and caring. This is the 2nd time I saw PA VIERA she is phenomenal she has contacted me afterwards to check on my status. The service, on a Sunday, while I was there was good. However, the first Tech forgot to take my temperature. Then, when I asked, they sent a second Tech to take it. Also, my medications did not get sent to CVS that day. They were closed by the time I arrived at CVS.So, I had to call them on Monday, the next day, to follow up and send the prescriptions to a different CVS. It was very frustrating!

I had an incredible experience here at Helix urgent care. I was treated by Dr. Deleo and he was the best physician I have ever had. You can tell how much he truly cares about his patients and their well being. He sat with me, gave me so much of his time, thoroughly answered any questions I had, and made me feel so much more comfortable. I cannot say enough about him! The facility itself was clean and all of the staff and employees were great and friendly! Overall great experience here.

Nice staff, short wait times. However, Bianca should work on her attitude as she is rude and talks like shes better than.

I booked an appointment here through ZocDoc.1) I researched and requested an appointment with a specific provider. 5 minutes before the appointment I get a notice that they scheduled me with a different provider. I did not receive advance notice and my permission was not sought, I just randomly got assigned.2) I did not like the provider I saw as she saw me for 8 minutes (virtually) and I didnt like her bedside manner. It was very rude/ dry and it felt like she was rushing me off the call from the time it started. At the end, she left the call so fast before I could even get another word out.

I was seen in a timely manner, diagnosed and prescribed Rx by a very nice and professional staff.

I came in for a recluse spider bite that had created a hole in my stomach. As a scared, broke patient with no insurance I had avoided seeing a doctor about this. Luckily the staff made me feel very comfortable, and very thorough. They helped me to not only feel better but save money. The front desk guy was very professional and friendly, made me feel like I had made the right decision coming there. The nurse taking my vitals was amazing and very personable. The doctor was great! He listened, and asked questions providing answers to all my worries. I strongly recommend coming here.

Worst place I ever been, went there just for a letter stating I can return back work to work was charge 657 dollars to my account!!! Robbery

I sliced my left index finger wide open on Saturday. The Doctor stitched it up nicely and gave written directions on aftercare, which I read and followed. I went back two days later, Monday, they did a saline wash, which made it feel much better. It took seven stitches. Ive been to MD now , for my wife, and it seems like theres a play Doctor there. He has no clue. I recommend Helix Urgent Care of Deerfield Beach.

Not in the business of taking care of people. The medical assistant didn’t introduce himself and didn’t talk at all until it was time to ask questions in his computer. Left the room and didn’t say anything at all. The nurse practitioner was fine but I had to tell her what to prescribe me instead of her making a diagnosis.

My experience at Helix Urgent Care in Deerfield Beach was a good one! I’d been feeling sick with a cold, cough, and bronchitis for about 2 weeks. They got me right in to see the doctor. It was very clean and efficient. She diagnosed me, prescribed some medications, and off I went.

The experience was great. Had to wait a bit but that was expected. Doctor was excellent as was the staff. Being a visitor to rhe area and knowing quality Urgent care is available is very reassuring.

I’ve been here on 3 different occasions trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Each time I’ve had to wait 2 hours to even be seen. This visit on 6/22/22 I waited in the lobby for 2 hours, then in the room for another hour just to be told to go somewhere else. They obviously don’t value their patients’ time or health care. Adding that this also was $200 out of my pocket for absolutely nothing.

I went to Helix to check out my finger to see if it was broken. The front office staff was very friendly and I was greeted quickly. I waited about 20 minutes to get a room which isnt bad at all. I met the P.A. Virginia and she was very delicate while inspecting my finger. I was sent off to x-ray and again a very friendly xray tech, I think her name is Liz, took care of me. Virginia let me know I did in fact fracture the finger and she set my finger, explained exactly what I needed to do at home, answered all my questions, and prescribed medication to my pharmacy. I never felt like this was a turn and burn experience like I have experienced in other urgent cares. Overall I had a great experience here. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. I think I found a new Urgent Care for all my needs in the future. Oh, I forgot to mention, Virginia actually called my house to ask how I was doing and follow up...whaaat???? that rarely happens. A+

As a medical provider myself, I can say this has been one of the best, most professional medical visit I have ever experienced. Unfortunately, more often than not, medical visits leave much to be desired and fall very short from the practice of even basic medicine. Virginia Viera, PA and her team had it all - from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave- compassion, great listening skills, patience, thorough history of present illness, physical examination skills and just plain ol good manners - an invaluable trait missing in daily interactions but essential in the medical field. You will not find arrogance, dismissive attitude with this team. My mother came in sick and even though she was referred to the ER due to the severity of her condition, she left feeling better! We, as her family, are incredibly grateful to you and your team for understanding that everything in medicine matters including & especially how you treat the patient and family members. May you be blessed to continue to improve patients lives with your commendable work. Thank you.

Clean and Beautiful facilty with very friendly and helpful staff. They offer reasonably quick services 7 days a week. They helped me deal with a bacterial infection and even called me 3 days later changing my prescription to a better suited antibiotic based on final lab results. They accept most insurances too. My go-to-place for timely medical care.

Wait was way too long with no more than 3 persons before me. I checked in at 2:41 and I saw the doctor minutes after 4. I was given a prescription for an over the counter item so my insurance did not cover it. I just continued drinking my ginger tea so basically I got no help, just a big out of pocket expense. On a better note Helix was awesome.

I needed a splinter removed from my foot that I could not get at. Helix Urgent Care was conveniently located in Deerfield Beach. I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful spacious check in and waiting area. The design was well thought out and flows with a modern feel to it. The check in process was also very smooth and automated with the use of I-Pad. The person running the check in process was experienced and you felt confident from the initial sign in it was going to be a good experience. The nurse and doctor that attended to my foot were excellent. I felt I was in good hands. They took my vitals and health history. The rooms were immaculate. I was out of there in probably 30-40 min that included the check in process. I would definitely visit Helix Urgent Care if you need medical attention that does not require a visit to the hospital or a specialist.Thank you

Was given a wait approximation of 1 hour.Going on 3 hrs now. Was finally admitted to a room to wait some more. Had I known the wait time would be so long, I wouldve went home and came at a later time. The lady at the front desk was nice. The doctor (?) who finally came to see me wasnt. Total time from the time I came in to the time I left was 4 hours! Never coming back here. I usually go to Urgent Care Hillsboro but they were out of flu tests. Way better there!

Had a great experience on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was very professional, caring, and knowledgeable. The facility is immaculate and well designed. Very happy to have a facility of this caliber available in our area.

Helix has never disappointed me! I’m so glad I got a 2nd opinion and came to them. After a complete misdiagnosis from MDnow, I can say Helix truly is an exceptional urgent care. My only con is that the wait was very long even with an appointment but it was worth it to get the right diagnosis. The staff and Dr’s here are excellent and very professional!

There was a bit of a wait but the Doctor took his time and was very clear and helpful. He answered all my questions very patiently and gave a thoughtful and well explained diagnosis. I would definitely return.

The whole team was professional and helpful. Mr. Mike at reception will sign in you fast and easy. Nursing staff are thorough. And absolutely wonderful Dr. Casanova. He is busy but will take care of you with respect and knowledge. I was in different UC around Deerfield - Pompano Beach. In my opinion this one is the best.

Not only was I there waiting four and a half hours while my eye was swollen shut, I cannot get in touch with anybody to ask about a charge. I have left four messages and have yet to hear back. The entire reason I went and waited was because they are listed on my insurance website. After two hours waiting, they then told me that they didn’t accept my insurance. On helix’s website it clearly states they take my Insurance. What is the issue? There is no email listed, the only way to get in contact with somebody is by calling, and leaving four messages does nothing. So unless I want to go wait for hours again with a bunch of COVID positive people I guess there’s not much I can do. Do not recommend.

This place stole my information and billed my insurance company for service that never happened Renee Cassanova is a liar saying I have had treatment there and charged me 500 Dollars never do anything with this place its a Fraud claim and there under investigation for stealing information

Md now wanted to charge my insurance for a PCR test AND charge me my urgent care copay. Thankfully Helix was close. They have a nice facility and competent staff. There was a wait, we are in a pandemic after all. But I was evaluated, tested, and seen briefly by a doctor- all with no copay. Results were processed by Quest and I had them back in less than 24 hours. Very pleased.

Shame on any business who just keeps accepting people walking through the door even though you do not have enough seating or staff for all. Even worse, god forbid you act human and give people who have been waiting for over 3 hours a heads up on when you might see them next. Just let sick people sit in your waiting room and dont bother give them any updates... No other type of business would get away with this type of service, but the medical industry gets a free pass for lack of business sense every time. Insurance should be a sliding scale on payment with how the patient is treated. When the owners of the Urgent Care go for service, you would hold them to the same level you expect when you go out. Look in the mirror of how you treat patients and treat them as if they were family and not another number. I had an infected cyst on the back of my neck that was swollen, red and it hurt. Dr Casanova was the BEST! He explained exactly what he observed, then drained it , prescribed an antibiotic and told me exactly what to do. I returned in 2 days as directed and he again was terrific. Highly recommend this location and Dr Casanova specifically.

The staff and doctors were very compassionate, caring, and very patient. They make you feel like they want to help you and they do help you very professional very caring.

Never ever coming back here again. I’ll pay the $12k for an emergency room. Here for an ear infection. Walked in said they was booked so I set an appointment for 12:45pm the next day. Guess what!? I’m still waiting 5 hours later. It’s 5:33pm and I’m still waiting. No excuses just will get with you. Prepare to waste an entire day or more. Even with an appointment

Nurse that I talked to about my condition was nice. The Doctor on the other had was rude and seemed very judgmental. She acted that I was bothering her being there, wouldnt really recommend here unless you cant go to another urgent care place honestly.

I really appreciated Dr.Christopher DeLeo’s demeanor and communication style. He was very professional, he took the time to explain how things work, and he was efficient.

Went for an xray they tried over chargeing for services I did not ask for or want . Told me everything was cuvered then tried charging me a week after my visit!I was there for 3 hours with 2 people other then me there. The whole time!They said it would be quick before I came when I called ! I asked about the billing befor I even want in . They are lires and scam artists. I checked 3 times if what I was there for was covered and she said yes 3 times.!!!!

Wonderful service. Very personalized and caring. I felt like I was in a private Doctors Office. Very high marks go to Virginia Viera PA.

This facility is clean. The staff is awesome. I was in a bad mood, sick, in with my 6month old, then i had issues with my bank card.... they were so patient and understanding. Then later, when i’d forgotten to inform them of a medicine allergy, they quickly changed my prescription without issue. Im so grateful to this facility! My mother was also a patient (on another day) and she was happy with their staff and service too. I recommend this facility. And special thanks to everybody who helped me. I appreciate the time you gave me, and your consideration to my needs when i was in a bad place. Ill return next time i need your help again. Thank you all!

I had a very pleasant experience at Helix Urgent Care in Deerfield. The Dr that saw me was specifically the reason my experience was so pleasant. She was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and listened. I really appreciated the fact that she was respectful of the patient’s time and sensitive to their needs. I believe her name was Dr. Jodi

Just to let you know that even with insurance you have to either leave them $125 cash deposit OR a credit/debit card ON FILE before they will treat you. They will refund any cash left after services if you are due one. I don’t leave a credit card “on file” anywhere so I left untreated plus I didn’t have cash.

Place was pretty good. Staff was nice. I didnt have to wait long. Doctor was great. The only thing that bothered me , was the floor . The waiting area was really dusty. I could tell the area was not swept in a while. My allergies wanted to kick in so bad. I felt like I wanted to sneeze and cough the whole time in the waiting room. I went in because I wasnt feeling good, when I was waiting g, I was wondering why I felt like I wanted to sneeze in cough, well after being seen by the doc, I was told I had sinusitis, and well could have a mild bronchitis. Too. He was right. That explained all my symptoms that I was feeling in the waiting room. They are moving to a new location, but I just want to let the helix employees know that they did nothing wrong, they just need to be more clean like sweeping the floors more often. Especially because its a health facility.

Helix processed my admission quickly, saw me within 20 minutes, diagnosed my issue and prescribed appropriately. It was an efficient experience.

The actual worst place I’ve ever been to. Speaking for a nurse’s perspective this is the worlds worst urgent care facility I’ve ever encountered. The nursing manger it extremely rude and not willing to work with you what so ever. I went in to get a TB skin test done. I was told by the male technician behind the desk that I was paying a total of $105 to have the TB skin test done ($55) and the other $50 for a Dr consult. I never once saw a doctor and the clinical technician is the one who performed my TB skin test. I went in two day later to get the skin test read. I was never taken back to be examined, instead it was read by the nurse manager (I don’t even know if she’s a Registered nurse) at the front desk (HIPPA anyone?!) and then patient waited for the doctor to sign my form. I was told by my facility I needed another form signed to ensure I was clear of TB to be able to work in the hospital. When I asked the nurse manger to have the document also signed by the doctor she simply stated they couldn’t sign this because they didn’t understand the document. I then requested to speak to the doctor directly. She ignored me, took my form to the doctor herself, told the doctor her side of the story, and then brought the doctor to me. The doctor said she’d need to preform a physical on me that was going to be an extra $100. I then reminded them I paid for a doctors visit and the test, which means I shouldn’t have to pay again. They then printed me a form stating I paid for a nurses visit when I NEVER ONCE SAW A NURSE. I’m actually so baffled at the situation I just encountered. What kind of facility are you running here? This entire experience just confirmed what a scam this specific place is. This is the Deerfield location. Don’t trust this place. The worst place ever. They will charge you endlessly for unnecessary procedures. Ps. I just did this a year ago at MD now and had ZERO issues and it costed me less. Run don’t walk.

Do not recommend! Got a foot x-ray took 2 weeks for them to call me back after I’meslking on my hurt foot. I kept calling and finally they told me I needed to see a podiatrist, they ended up giving me a boot! DO NOT GO HERE unless u want ur injuries to not be treated and stuck paying an expensive medical bill

Make sure you verify whether or not they accept your insurance. They will take your card upon coming in, say they accept, render services, and then bill you later out of pocket. Apparently they dont know what insurance they take or do not take at the door. This is handled after the fact and will cost you big!

I went to Helix because of lower back pain. They were wonderful. The place is very well organized and clean. Everyone on the staff that I dealt with was very pleasant. That includes the receptionist, the nurse, the xray tech and the doctor.I definitely recommend this facility!

Excellent! I should have gone 2 days sooner, but I forgot the clinic was even there. In and out in under an hour on a Sunday! Clean, friendly and the Doc was great! She gave me a prescription and a lot of great home remedies as well! Highly recommend!

Very clean facility and a professional and caring staff. From the reception desk all the way to the doctor walking me to the exit door. The wait time was very minimal. I was very pleased with the care I received and the reason for my visit was diagnosed. I was given my prescription and was on my way. I highly recommend.

So, my coworker actually recommended me to this place but the experience was not my favorite. I came in on a Wednesday morning at around 11:45am. I signed in at around 11:49am gave them my information and it took about twenty minutes for me to finish all of that. Everyone is really nice and helpful however, they took an additional 1 1/2 hours to give me a covid test. I even saw people before me go before me. Now, We been through the pandemic for already a year and a half and for the people that don’t know, they get a long Q-tip and swab the inside of your nose. It should only take about 30 seconds for the whole test. I was so irritated by that point but I kept my cool; so I got up and asked the front when I was going to see someone and the front desk lady said oh okay someone will see you soon. In less then five minutes, I went in and did the test. Now, I don’t know if today was a fluke because everyone was genuinely so nice but it really upset me because I lost practically two hours on something that could’ve taken 20 mins tops, and that’s me pushing it. I don’t know if this will help but hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I went in for a drug test for a job Im getting. The visit was quick. What made it really fast was the touch screen tablet for the demographics. The nurses and front desk were very nice and i also noticed the prices for other things were pretty good priced. Thank you for such an awesome visit!

I would rather go to a veterinariansHospital, they are very unprofessional. Tell you one then have you come back for follow-up? They didnt follow-up with.I would not recommend this hospital to somebody die.

I saw Dr Christopher Deleo who I was familiar with from Boca Regional Hospital. He was patient, professional and caring and took time to explain everything as well as write it down for me. I was seen in a timely manner and everyone was courteous. The care was exemplary and I’m thrilled to find a great urgent care so close to my home.

Always happy with my visits here. Everyone pleasant . This time for a fractured wrist and Virginia the PA did a great job communicating to me the diagnosis.

The care and quality of service is outstanding and to be able to be seen immediately is a plus when my primary practitioners can’t see me for 2 or 3 days and doesn’t work on Fridays.Thank you also for the great bedside manner from the front desk staff, nurses and doctors.

Staff waa very nice. Immaculate waiting area. My son and I needed a covid test for travel. The nurse who gave it was extremely friendly and had wonderful bedside manners. We were both very nervous. Dr. came in at the end and explained how we would get called with results and walked us out. Will definately be back for future appointments as needed.

Helix urgent care was very clean, efficient, and welcoming. Dr. Cassanova took great care of our son’s baseball injury. He was thorough and very kind. He did not rush us through, and he showed genuine care for our son. We were very blessed to find this place.

The front desk has no clue what they are doing! I went in 9/2020 I was told my insurance covered the visit. 2 months later they charged my card on file, no knowing I had fraud so I had got another card. 3 months later they send me a bill for 200.00. The best part i only owed 16.95 the rest was late charges they never called, send a bill nothing. I called them wrote a note to no avail. Today I get a bill for 296.00 from a collection agency. So they want to mess my credit for there mistake. Unbelievablei would die before I ever go there again

Terrible service from check-in to billing. I was also billed $450 for a COVID PCR test including a charge of $225 for a doctor that I never saw nor received services from because a lab tech swabbed my nose for the test. I have insurance but could never get the front desk or the Helix Accounting department to return my 7 calls and voicemails to update the information that they entered into their system. Which, by the way, I was not allowed to confirm because the iPad used to complete check-in locked-up when I tried to update my address. The man at the front desk would not return it so I could finish confirming the info. He stated that there wasn’t anything else to confirm. I never confirmed the erroneous insurance info in their system. Then I could not get anyone on the phone to do the update so I drove back down there and gave the insurance card to them in person. Guess what? They never filed it with my correct insurance company and billed me for $450 the day after I drove over there and hand delivered the correct insurance info. Horrible customer service! Please do not go here for medical services.

Went for a Covid test. Everyone was very nice, desk, doctors and all. Whole process took about a half hour from checkin to walking out the door, which isn’t the fastest but better than others I’ve been to. More importantly, got my results in less than 48 hours which is on the fast side. Plenty of space in the lobby and not crowded, good social distance markings.

It’s great. I had a sore throat. They gave me antibiotics. Now I’m better! I feel PERFECT. Now I am ready to start my career as an opera singer! Thank you Helix Urgent Care!

This is an awesome Urgent Care with great staff members. I was greeted by an handsome guy at the front desk by the name of Mike he was super hopefully with the kiosk, then i was brought back by a beautiful young lady name Sherry she was very gentle with collecting my vitals then i was shocked to see a handsome young doctor walk in (Zoppi) he was very knowledgeable (I wish he had his own practice) with my symptom. Upon leaving I ran into BOTH managers (Site & Assistant) I let Tiasha & Jeannette know that they have an amazing crew and although the reviews on google are harsh I really think you guys need to try them out and besides their NEW facility is AMAZING!

Terrible experience at this clinic! I was at this clinic for a Covid test with proof of an appointment made online. They did not honor my appointment, said that it was not valid, bla, bla, bla...Then they said that my Insurance did not cover Covid test, I had called my Insurance previously and was told that yes, test would be covered. etc. Long story short, I was at that clinic for tree hours to have the 5 minutes test done! I had to pay $125.00 for the test, and front desk said if I wanted the test to be reimburse to me I should fill many pages of info and send them to my insurance! I found out later that patients do not have to do it but the Clinic has to do it. So they suppose to do the paper work and submit it to Insurance. Today, a month later, I called my Insurance they said they have not gotten any claim from that clinic! The Insurance called the clinic w\ me on the phone and clinic worker blamed the post office for the delay...which is unbelievable! Probably the novel will continue until who knows when ...?I had a Terrible experience at Helix! They are unprofessional, some workers there are rude, talk over us, they try to convince us otherwise, etc. Be aware of all this (and much more that I saw there), before going to that clinic!

I never thought you could have such a great experience when entering a drs office because you’re in pain. From the moment I walked in Gia at the front was soooo welcoming and Dr Casanova Was so genuinely caring. Yesterday I went in,the time waiting was a little longer than usual. I had hurt myself on the job, but the service and the doctor they have on site next level kindness.

I Found this clinic near my job when I was looking to get Covid tested a few months ago because I needed a double negative to return to work and my daughter to return to school...Was very pleasantly surprised by the level of care that my daughter and I received from a walk-in clinic that we were Familiar with before we went there for the first time.Greeted by Chris Who is a lovely gentleman - Very calm and kind and helpful!I have been twice now and seen the nurse practitioner, Rifky Shpielman ... It took her less than 15 seconds both times I was there to figure out the underlying condition that I was suffering from! She treats in a very professional manner, Is clearly knowledgeable of her patient’s needs, and treats in way that really puts you at ease - even children!I am so happy to know that we have a walk-in clinic that is so close to my house and my job - that has flexible hours & can see you same day. Place is extremely clean. Frustrations with the current state of medical care isnt exactly their fault, but they did not assess medical coverage properly and didnt bill me enough on initial visit. It resulted in them wanting to collect further payment later, then attempting to add an administrative fee (late fee) to it. That fee was waived, but at the end of the day I ended up paying ~$150 for a single visit and prescription of antibiotics for an upper airway infection. Saw a doctor all of 30 seconds. Did I need to see him more? Probably not, I got my prescription, but I cant give 5 stars for that experience.

Well. Helix was a nice clean place and everyone was pleasant but I was only there for a COVID Rapid test for travel. Never received my results. No call no email. Luckily I had a test done at another provider for surety and I was able to travel. 210$ for nothing.

Dr Casanova has the most Warm, Kind, and Unconditional care I have ever experienced in having to see a doctor. On the other hand, the staff that works with him behind the seen are not warm and caring and according to a conversation I overheard while waiting behind my curtain, they have no respect for the doctor either. The good news is that i will go back to see The Good Doctor with hopes that he ends up with a staff that he deserves.

I’m absolutely disappointed in this place! I had an appointment at 11 am and was ignored several times until they fully checked me in, than waited another 1h and 45 min to call me in for a drug screen! I am really wondering if they monitor the appointments flow or how does it work their system?! Total unprofessional!

This was a very easy experience. The staff was very pleasant and I was not waiting very long to be seen by the doctor. I was in and out in a hour. The receptionist was very knowledgeable and made me feel very welcomed. I will definitely be back if I have any other injurys/sickness in the future.

I had a very good experience at Helix on Sunday. I was warmly welcomed at reception. Had x-rays and well looked after. My time until I was discharged was about an hour. Great place very clean and professional.

The care we received from their employees was great, however, the Dr. only prescribed medicine for 3 days, which was strange to me, we usually get 10. He stated that it worked for his kids and it stays in the system for 10 days so he’ll be Ok. It was fine until 6 days later when my son complained of the same symptoms and I had to spend another $50 copay for urgent care and more money for an Rx. Next time I’ll push for 10 days like. Should have gone with my mommy instinct, but I didn’t, I trusted the urgent care Dr.PS- my son had fluid in his ears and redness in his throat.

As a construction worker im in the minor emergency rooms alot ;be it drug testing opps and ut-ohs and now several covid tests to protect our customers when we may have been exposed . This place was the nicest ive been the service was great the front desk lady was so helpfull and the doctor spook clearly and directly. Not to mention how fast it was my only regret is not remembering their names bang up job guys ! I know why my company uses you guys super professional!

Waited over an hour and a half to have a covid test done. Made an appointment as well. Called and asked after 45 minutes how much longer it should be. Was time making an appointment did not matter and they were taking care of people that came before me. Did not even ask me my name or number . Still waited another hour and was not seen. A complete waste of time.

Everyone was very play. Doctor, nurse and receptionist were all very understanding, professional courteous.

First impression about this facility was - so calming and nice design, very clean. The second impression - the medical team - very nice, polite, and helpful. I injured my Shin a few days ago  it  was extremely painful and very swollen. Finally, I decided yesterday, after my ankle swelled up, and turned black and blue, I should have it checked out. I googled Urgent Care, near me , and the first place that popped up was Helix Urgent Care, Deerfield Beach. It was literally a 5 minute drive from my home. From the second I walked in, I felt comfortable. Mike, at the front desk checked me in. NO PAPER WORK, to fill out. They have this awesome tablet that you type in your information, not your lifes biography. Within 5 minutes of a little typing, I was called in to treoage. Josh, who is working there to further his education to be a Fire Department, Paramedic, was excellent. I actually thought he was the Dr.After I had the pleasure to meet perhaps one of the nicest Doctors, Ive ever met  .Dr. Deleo, examined me, told me what his opinion was, and had me take an X-ray. Christina took the X-ray. Not even 2 minutes later, Dr. Deleo informed me that the X-rays showed no fractures. His opinion was spot on.Dr. Deleo makes you feel as if your Mother was taking care of you when you have the cold. There is  true Sincerity in him. I just had some inflammation and an infection in my leg.I want to thank Dr. Deleo, and the entire staff at Helix. With everything we are experiencing in the health field these days, it is wonderful to see amazing professionals, Press On Regardless. I strongly recommend Helix. They are not a huge Corporation, and thats what makes them even more special.Thank you Helix Urgent Care.I give you a 100 star rating.

I’m usually not a fan of urgent care but this place made me feel different. Everyone was very nice and friendly, it felt like I see them all the time as if this was my primary dr office. I would return and recommend!!

The staff was efficient and effective. Went in, stated problem,diagnosed and done. The nurse on call that day was wonderful. The doctor knew her stuff. Would easily go back if required.

I have been to this place twice. The nurses are nice but the guy working in the front is lazy and does not communicate much at all besides when asking for the 99.00 dollar office visit right at the beginning as you walk in. Once waiting for about 15-20 mins they call you in and take your blood pressure and ask a couple of questions and put you in a room without saying much as you wait for the doctor. The doctors were the worst part of this whole experience. They are either not qualified or just are too lazy to do their job. What doctor asks you what type of medicine should I prescribe you? They make you wait long and then ask questions that are irrelevant. I would never go to this place and would highly recommend that you dont either. I feel like I wasted my 100 bucks just to go sit around and get a medicine prescribed to me that made me sick and throw up left and right. This place is a RIP OFF!!! LOL the doctor was trying to sell me on tests like its a sales job and I am at best buy. Shameful behavior from a professional that seemed more concerned about meeting quotas than taking care of his patients.

It was a pleasant surprise to be able to walk-in without an appointment for a test needed to assure I had no infection. The was only a short wait before I was taken. No the the doctor and nurses were most competent and kind.

This was my 2nd time ever going to a Urgent Care center.My expectation was a wow moment. The STAFF was superb. The facility State of the Arts.If ever need to go to a Urgent Care, I will be there.Keep doing a great job on caring ❤ for others.

I went on a Saturday and received very good care. They took a chest x-ray and said it had to go out on Monday for review as it showed a lot of congestion. I called Wed.,Thursday and still no results. They said 3/4 of office was out ill having caught something from a patient and were understaffed. Promised to call x-ray people and get back to me. No return call. Called Friday. Still no results. It smacks of malpractice that one cannot get a result of an x-ray after 5 days at the radiologist office. When we told them we might have to get an attorney, they said alright.The initial care was good, but it is all not worth it to be treated this way afterwards. I will not go back there again.

I waited for only 30 minutes to see a doctor when I arrived. I was able to have everything done in less than 1 hour and 30 mins. Got my prescriptions the same day and took the medications that same night and noticed the difference before morning of the next day. Thank you Helix I appreciate it all.

The receptionists were very helpful and caring. They interacted with each patient. That was nice to see. The nurse taking my information was very kind. The Dr on staff was informative and helpful.

Every single person I interacted with was AMAZING!!! From the initial call to find out if I had to have an appointment with Mike to the person who offered to get me a wheelchair, to the xray technician Rosie? To the lady who wheeled me to my car- I broke my left foot; to Dr Cassanova. EVERYONE treated me with respect and caring. Best interaction in FL I have had anywhere to date!!!

Update: DO NOT GET YOUR COVID TEST DONE HERE.I got a covid test that I was told would be covered by my health insurance. They didnt tell me that there would be a $272 doctor bill in ADDITION to the covid test.I did not wish to see the doctor -- but they said I had to see the doctor. He literally listened to my lungs and my heart for 30 seconds for $272.Then, it took 3 days to get my Covid test results! I had to pay to get another test done at the airport because it took longer than the promised 2 days. Ridiculously long time to wait!I got it done in one day in Nicaragua!Helix is a complete scam.

Absolutely BS...packed with COVID testers and making no priority for anyone who has an actual urgent matter... son fell and ankle very swollen.. Noone answers their phone ever so we walked in... shouldnt be long they said. 3 hours later we had to limp out on crutches.. not willing to treat URGENT needs over those who are just there to get tested for travel. And there were many.. the COVID cash cow continues

This place has declined considerably in the years since , many of the staff either have a language barrier or cognitive disability , common sense just isn’t so common , Gia & risky are among the few staff there that actually have an excellent grasp of the English language and can exercise their cognitive ability , I had called to get a simple form filled out verifying that I had received my titers from this health care facility, Kirra flat out lied and told me that the nurse practitioner Risky was adamant about not signing the form because my titers were over a year old , when I asked to speak with her I was told she was busy with clients and would call back , I never received the call because kirra neglected to tell the np I had called. Gia went above and beyond to rectify an issue that had little to nothing do with her but she made me a priority and exhibited a level of professionalism that is unmatched. I spoke with a medical assistant who spoke English but not at a level in which she should be interacting with clients . You guys need to implement a stricter hiring process and thoroughly vet potential new hires! Please

The staff was attentive and every single person from front desk, nurse, physician gave quality care and really cared about my well being. I vacation in Hillsboro frequently, and I now have comfort knowing where to go for health care should my family or me need to.

This was the only place I could get a covid test without an appointment - every appointment time was taken at both CVS and Walgreens from Delray south through Ft. Lauderdale. I took a number and waited in my vehicle. Very thankful for this facility!

Much gratitude to Dr DeLeo for a no nonsense approach and prescribing meds to address my condition. I believe I am proceeding towards recovery.

This business has poor business practices, they tripled our actual bill with administrative fees and $50 fees, never clearly defined. ... They ask you to fill out a form via a iPad and then sign, then later run the card then the same day run a $50 fee. How did they do this? handed her an iPad quickly to sign ( while she was sick) and then charged her card $50 each time she was in. She has no experience going to the doctors, they push only data via an iPad and lacked communication of needing payment from her parents, as the Insurer. Yes, our daughter has BCBS and went in with my insurance card and my information as responsible party. Then they sent the bill to my daughters address, forgot the until number, so it never arrived, and continue to attempt to charge her card, then also charge $15 admin fee, plus $50 no token fee, whatever that is for 9 months, then only did I find out about the bill after they went to collections and called my daughter for the first time. Insanity. Poor business management. This company will be reported to the Better Business Bureau. Our bill was $469 for 3 visit ( yes they kept seeing her without telling her they were charging her) and they are now attempting to collect $1100. Its insanity.

Went in seemed good at first gave them my license and insurance card, united healthcare. Sat in the waiting room for about 20min and than was called up to the front. They said I had to pay $150 upfront to be seen even though I had insurance. Knowing that I had decent insurance I asked to double check she said she did and that I have to reach a deductible first and then my insurance would pay 80/20. Made sense but I knew I could go else where cheaper so I left. Called my insurance company and they said they do pay 80% now and that the helix was trying to get me to pay 100% and then seek reimbursment. Went to Walgreens clinic, was seen by a doctor not RN and paid $1 total including my prescriptions.

Will never come here again. The receptionist and the doctor were very rude to us from the get-go so we left. They were happy with there other customers till we showed up and the atmosphere turned a whole 180 degrees. I wonder why?

Went there a few times for pcr test for traveling . price changed from 149.- to 229.- within 2 months last year . plus they promise the result to be there within 24 hours but after the test up to 3 days :(. we do have better once for that . today did asked for antigen rapid test : 99.- $ !!!! what a rip off. others do that for 49 .- wich is not bad as the test himself cost 1.- no, that was my last try .... I drive 15 minutes longer and do it in Fort Lauderdale now pcr 149.- and result in 12-24 h . rapid 49.- . not recommendable !

Oh my gosh. Worst place ever! Want to know why?Let me tell you first of all, I am Deaf person and I’m also gay too. Okay? So I came here after visiting 2 doctors who believed that I didn’t have anything because I got sick for several week and mind you, I was still not getting any better. I came in and callled prior beforehand for the service charges. I was informed it would be $100 for walk in and $50 for strep throat test. So I came in and asked for diagnosis. The doctor and staff was “nice” but not really genuine nice. They did their job. The place was empty and slow so no wonder why they’re bored. So the diagnosis was done and I was bombarded with the price for the blood work and other. They charge me $150 for a blood work?! What?! I asked before and they didn’t tell me? I wish there’s a service fee list so we can expect to make the payment. However I didn’t had enough money ah the time I went in. So, I asked if there’s extra time to make the half of the payment and they allowed me for next few days. So I came back next week and made the payment and asked for the result. ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THEY NEVER SENT IN THE RESULT BECAUSE I DIDNT MAKE THE PAYMENT. Ridiculous!!!!! Wow. I was so sick and they were gonna wait until I pay? They’re very greedy and cares only about the money. So I went there and I waited another week. They were supposed to call me which they never did. I called them myself and I would call them 3-4 times a week! Finally, by the end of the following week, I called and they had my results. ONLY to see that they didn’t give me the full bloodworms. I asked for the full records but only to find herpes and Strep throat swap. I believed they were hiding something from me. They denied me access to full result which was not right! Horrible service! NEVER GOING BACK TO THAT EVIL PLACE AGAIN! They asked me if I can come back in again and get tested for what?! Another $60 for that?!?! No thanks! I’m done done done done done! Noooo!OH! By the way, I’m still sick to this day. Nothing is helping! Forget them!

Helix is excellent! The doctor examined me and gave me medicine for upper respiratory infection. I would definitely go there again and recommend it to others!

I decided to come to Helix to get the Covid test, and I was told it would include an antibodies test as well. It did not. I could have gone to get free rapid testing, no insurance necessary, with the same test and results. I feel a little misled about that. With that said, the staff were friendly.

I would give Helix urgent Care high marks for excellent support staff, office people, technicians, and cleanliness. However, I was disappointed and incredulous by Dr Christopher DeLeos dubious advice to me concerning covid-19 testing. I came there seeking a PCR test (I had symptoms and live with a family member who tested positive), and fortunately I received the test by another staff member before seeing Dr DeLeo. Dr DeLeo told me to forget about all covid testing. He said to not get covid tests including PCR tests. He said it doesnt matter whether you have covid or not, to just stay at home, and seek medical help if you are not better in 5 to 7 days. It is my opinion that we need people not only to act responsibly when they have covid, but we also need data from testing in order to provide information so that we have any chance at all in trying to control pandemics and develop vaccines. Data and science are not perfect but they are the only tools we have.

Quick, easy pre-employment drug screening. The Medical Assistant at the front desk is pleasant and friendly and the MA who did my screening was a tad bit cold and unfriendly but I guess he must have had a bad day. He seemed a little upset I overfilled my cup..ooops! He needed some lessons on bedside manner...Hope he doesnt taint my urinalysis...lol

This place is truly a joke. They left me sitting there for 2+ hours wearing nothing but a paper gown while they continued seeing people who got there an hour after me, despite the fact that I had a serious infection and a high fever. I left, demanded a refund, and went somewhere else. What’s worse was the techs attitude. She refused to say a single word to me the entire time. Not a word. Just stared at my blankly and walked away. Even when I said I was leaving and demanded a refund. Not a word.

Came in with a lot of pain in my Achilles! Once I got here I was registered and in front of a doctor in a timely manner. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and health conscious I.e gloves mask whatever is needed to ensure germs don’t spread. This was the best urgent care clinic in Broward and Palm Beach, and I have been to few. We came in with red swollen face and hives, body rash. Dr. Delo was outmost professional and took his time for assessment. We were rest assured with proper treatment.

I walked in, not crowded, very nice reception. Short wait, just time enough to fill out info on a touch screen questionnaire. Professional, clean and fast. Did not even ask for extra tests like most doctors offices!

Dr. Deleo saved my life. I only went in because of severe fatigue. He realized that I had high bp and sent me to an er directly. They found an artery on my heart that was 80% blocked and 2 others pinched off. My calcium score was through the roof. All my doctors at the hospital said if I hadnt came in when I did I wouldnt have lived much more! Thank you all at helix for working together to save my life!

Cant get my money back from these clowns.They couldnt provide the services promised. I wasted my entire day to visit them. They charged me for the unrendered services but promise to refund. And now they dont answer their phone! 7 voicemails, 2 emails, and 15 days later and still no response, return call or refund. So heres a bad review!Also got sick when i visited this place.

Pleasant, professional reception and recording nurse; awesome facility; attending physician was thorough, attentive and LISTENED! Extra convenient to have a lab onsite. Great to find such help when I was away from home.

Everything went well and with ease. I was very pleased with treatment and attentiveness of nurse and doctor...the receptionist were very pleasant.

Had very good experience with them. Took my daughter in for swimmers ear once and for sea lice allergy another time. Fast and professional. Got my prescriptions and pediatrician referral.

Staff was friendly, very efficient and there was no waiting. My medical records were ready for pick up the same day. For emergency or just a minor cold, I would highly recommend HELIX, Deerfield Beach!

I have to say from being greeted when entering the office to seeing the PA explaining my issue to steps of helping me a solution.Very helpful

1/2 inch long splinter in tip of index finger. Straight down. Nurse Practioner listened and after 10 minutes of trying to remove she tried harder then harder again. Told her to push with forceps and go-for-it. I took a deep breath and she got it.I knew it was a looong splinter and she believed me. Very painful coming out but not like fingertip surgery would have been.I wanted to hug her but COVID prevents that contact.

Dr R Casanova is quite knowledgeable, patient, and explains observations very well. He tells why and listens to your questions and answers them.Everyone in the Helix Urgent Care follows suit of Dr Casanova; they emulate him and thats why there are so many patients.

I made an appointment for 11:00. They didn’t honor my appointment. The wait was HOURS!!! I couldn’t wait for 3 hours because I have 3 kids.

I brought my son here for a visit and the Dr was kind and gentle with my baby boy and made sure I got the proper medication for him I was so thankful and the staff were amazing and the wait time was less then 2 minutes how can you beat that great facility

The staff was attentive and friendly. They were knowledgeable and patient about answering questions. If you need to get medical care right away or for physicals or other medical tests, Helix is a great option.
